functions and relations

functions and relations, think that's what you learn only in mathematics? guess you're wrong. when you see a many-one relation happening right before your eyes, then you'd know what i'm talking about. then again for that matter, it has caused many- one functions to break, some have just fueled talk. since we're studying the A LEVEL mathematics course, let us go deeper in the discussion shall we? what do you think will happen when the domain of the relation expands, say to infinity, to the entire relation? could it cause some numbers to be excluded from the range? or maybe it might bring more numbers to be included within the range. hmmm... *work your mathematical mind now and tell me what will happen. haven't come up with answer? let me tell you then. *screams* because of the many-one relation, competition takes place. who will win- this one i really must see. then again, it has sparked off many discussions amongst mathematicians who have expresssed their views on this phenomenon. the behaviour of several numbers seem to be independent of each other- something which have caused some mathematicians to scratch their heads even till today. it could probably be only for the LOVE of mathematics for such a phenomenon to take place. what do you think?
[sorry for the mathematical misinfomation- if there was anything in the first place. lol.]
