heyhey. hahaha. i think i really need to change this habit le. have been coming online too often. then never study. got do tutorials lahx. but still, dang. haha. :)
anyway, today's pe was like the most fun pe lesson we ever had. no running (other than a few sprints in the beginning), we did mass dance instead. was so darn fun. haha. maybe it was because it was a female teacher who took us. haha. then again, she also forgot the steps for the mass dance lahx. ahha. then keep telling us wrong cues. ahha. darn funny. ahha. but it was darn fun. haha. dancing with the class. ahha. "i want you" and "whiney whiney" ahha. so fun. so fun. FUN!
then after that, taoyat - rey - jason - yapchow came over to my place to see snowy (my dog!) hahahha. they were visibly pleased to see a dog. haha. *shrugs shoulders* haha. anyway, it was great to be in their company. and hell yeah, did we make some noise. literally. yapchow itchy itchy fingers then went to press press the alarm panel thing lahx. ahha. then suddenly alarm go off. so irritating. but that time they were just about to go lahx. haha. then once they left, i obviously called my dad up to ask him wat to do lahx. haiyooh. so crappy lahx. but its one of the most fun thing that you can ever do. ahha.
i'll forever remember the things we did together as a class, 4B. haha.

darren's back. tell a frend.
these few weeks have really really been busy for me. when school ends at 2.30 on wed and thurs and at 4.30 on mon, tues and fri, and u've got cca on three days weekly, trust me, u dun really have a lot of time to yourself to rest and relax. times have been busy and stressful for me these few days, but nonetheless, vjc has definitely been fun and enjoyable.
as a result, i apologise to all my 4B'04 classmates, if they've ever come here wanting to take a glimpse at wat i've been going through, btu have been disappointed time and time again. for that, sorry.
yesterday was the first gathering for the 4B people since we went into our new Jcs. it was heartwarming to see so many of us back there at our alma mater to meet up. a total of 10 of us went to eat, but i think 13 came to meet up. yup. we ate at swensons where many of us had baked rice. and hell did we make a lot of noise. sharing all our experiances at our respective jcs, we were all interested and excited for one another. ahha. so 4B lahx. lame and err... lame? haha. but nevertheless, it was pretty fun. and the night ended well, when we all went to macs to eat ice-cream. haha. but yet, somehow there was the sense of nostalgia as i went out with them. it was refreshing to be once again in the the company of fellow Victorians, but yet, i felt there was this 'force' that somehow forbid our thoughts. yup. it was nostalgic. yup. just sad that after last night, we are back to our lives without one another's company.
seeing many of my classmates at mjc, i somehow feel as if i lost a lot. a hell lot. yapchow, jonlim, rey, jason and taoyat. still keunho [nyjc], bryan, ragen [both at ajc], samuel [njc] and many others have made me wonder whether it was ever possible for all of us to be at the same college after the first 3 months. many of us expressed doubt when the question was posed to them.but yet, i felt it would be great for all of us to be in the same college. then again, i think i'm selfish.
maybe it's time for us to move on. i mean 05S43 has really been wonderful. with all the scandals rising, i was left scratching my head when my angel told me that our class has been seemingly quiet. haha. 05S43 totally ROX. haha. the days i spent with this class has really been fun and enjoyable. haha. rock on, dudes!
so i guess i'll just spend this holiday alone, with nowhere to go. hmmm. maybe i just might go out with zhenghao. haha.

orientation '05
today marked the end of the Volleywood 2005 ie.Victoria Junior College Orientation'05!
we started off as groups who have never seen one another within and across groups. there were intense competition from Vader, Indigoo, Corsair, Trojan, Orion, Rodeo, Ingole, Arrana. and together they were the Orientation Groups- OG! woohoo!! but today, after many ups and downs throughout the 5 day orientation, we bonded real well with one another. and knowing the same school song and school cheers just further unites us.
it has been tiring these 5 days, with all the games; the mass dances; the outdoor games; the cheers; the running and the walking; the roleplays; the songs; the sea regatta, it is little wonder that we would be tired each day! having OG dinner for already 2 nights, i went out with my OG for lunch after the Sea Regatta. had lunch at pizza hut lahx. ha! so fun.
but more importantly, today was the final day, as i have mentioned above. the times i spent at the Sea Regatta were the most memorable to me. we had all the games at East Coast Beach. having the games such as sand burial, captain's ball with not 2 but 4 groups, tug-of-war, and phototaking... all these were tiring enough! but i must say one thing: for those who know Zhi Yong. i was playing captain's ball with his group along with 2 other groups. he caught the ball, and fell, breaking his arm into 2 pieces. it was horrendous. no blood, no screams, but it was horrible alright. real horrible. just to see the hand in that postition was horrible enough. my goodness. so to all those who know him, please PRAY for him! thnx!
after all the games right, we did the mass dance also lahx! all the Mass Dances- la bamba, friendship dance, whiney-whiney, i want you, neutron and tribal dance [ which we have not really learnt it yet; we mearely followed wat the OGLs were doing ]. super fun! then we got to dunk a lot of people also lahx. haha. all so fun. dunked shereen, ben, wang di, and many others into the sea. i, on the other hand, was dunked first courtesy of gerald. it was really really fun lahx! haha.
this orientation has really really been fun so KUDOS to the CT council, the Students' Council, the teachers, the OGLs, and all those who made it a huge success. it has really really been memorable, and i'm sure we, TROJAN can one day go out together as an OG again. all the 70-80 of us!

Orientation Day 1. simply fun.
orientation day1: SIMPLY FUN ! ! ! after the registration, the morning was pretty boring, cause there were subject talks and talks on some science research thingy. but for me, i was only interested in the econs, physics, chem, and to some extent bio's talk. haha. wat they do and things like that. quite fun lahx. i mean the syllabus!
then we played games. some squirrel, trees, fire... etc etc. haha. so quite fun! the forfeit was also FUN! hahaa. then there was mass dance, where many of us jsut simply screwed up. ahha. first time mahx. haha. we did the whole thing, we were just unsure of ourselves. not that we don't dare and stuff but we were unsure whether we did the right things or not. BUT! the whole mass dance was SUPER FUN! haha.
somemore games, and a short talk here and there, we had orientation group meeting at the end of the day- TROJAN! we learnt neew cheers. so it was pretty interesting lahx. but by that time, as in during meeting, we were all DEAD BEAT le. all of us were super tired. all the jumping and dancing. ya. it was tiring alrite.
but one thing i felt was lacking todae was definitely spirit. i mean on the first dae, all of us came from some tens of schools around us, and obviously not knowing one anothere, we did not bond that well lahx. so we were pretty shy and things like that. so very soon, we'll see ourselves as Victorians in the college, and yea, be really bonded together.
and after saying that: boy, am i looking forward to the next 4 more days of fun fun fun in orientation ! ! ! :)

hurr hurr.
a phrase i picked up from Zara. hahaha. that is: hurr hurr. so lame lorhx. haha... farni too!
todae was just madness. took the P6 CG todae and it was totally exhaustive. many of the leaders also felt the same way. but during sactuary, even though we were late and 0nly attended about 15mins of P&W,. we readily draw strngth from God. it was just amazing. skipping lunch to serve for 3pm ankd rehearsal, i paid a hefty price.
GASTRIC. yup. it hit me. it was really really bad. so bad that it lasted 1hour and when i reached tampines mrt station, i practically couldn't move due to the excruciating pain. all thanks to mark, rachel, and charity. who by the Grace of God were sent to see through those boring times of theirs. mark got me the gastric medicine. took it and soon enough, it was gone. AMEN! charity called her mum down to send me home, but by the time she came, i was fine le. haha. rachel hor- so sweet of her to stand by me even when charity and mark went to look for the taxis. haha.
so i'm so thankful for these 3 frends of mine. all so close to me. ha! love ya guys. MUACKX! :)

on new year's eve + day
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
met bella, sharon, edwin and jian long at glasshouse fish & co. for dinner today. it was sooooooooo GOOD! as in seriously. the fish is fresh. the chips are great. the drinks're refreshing. SHIOK seh. haha.
took train down to LEW for service at 2200h. damn fun. prayed for the tsunami victims, prayed for the church, prayed for the nation, it was pretty interesting. then after that, oh. here comes the fun part.
went to admiralty mrt station to realise that there's no straight train to somerset. took the last train to ang mo kio. where we stood outside for i think 5 mins deciding where to go next. then we took a cab to go down to city. reached city at 0130h, that means no more mrt service le. so went to cathay to have a drink. bella was sprayed at with sprays of soap! ! ! she was super pissed. haha. should have seen and heard her. so farni lahx. haha. but it was damn farni. haha. went to the coffee canoisseur for a drink of coffee. and we played truth or dare. we had some heart-wrenching moments pertaining to our BGRs and likes. bella, edwin, jianlong and i all shared. pretty fun. haha. should have more. haha. fun fun fun. we then walked back to heeren before we took a taxi home where all 4 of us went our seperate ways. haha.
this day i think is the first time i stayed out so late with my cg ppl. as in to city area. it was memorable, and i'm glad that i shared the first few hours with you guys! thnx for the experience!
