a message: 250605
One day, love and friendship met... Love asked Friendship: "Why do you exist when I already exist?" Friendship replied: "To put a smile where you leave tears".

i really feel cheated.
[no dear, its not because of you]
have i not told you all to learn up your steps and your actions? have i not reminded you guys time and time again? was it very difficult to know what action at what part- am i even asking for 10000 actions in a bar? the actions are simple enough, 1 action for 2 or more pages? is it really tough? and you tell me you people aren't ready. as part of the choreo com, shouldn't it be your perogative to learn up, to memorise and to remember the actions.
just disappointed.
pretty much.
we've got to memorise the score AND actions by sat. if you cannot meet that dateline, well i guess it's my head that rolls. ONLY my head. yours don't. but i'm not the least worried cause i know i've done my best. but you guys ought to ask yourself- have you?
and let me introduce the alphabet of the day to you.

time alone
tunes of old melodies play on like a sweet carousal
round like a circle, like a wheel within a wheel.
it doesn't stop.
no, it doesn't.
a finely integrated and woven cloth of many colours
sombre dark and dull fills the linen atmosphere
it doesn't end
no, it doesn't.
i really hate this feeling
the feeling of pining.
confusion and pms takes over
leaving you helpless.

globalisation and nationalisation
was watching the 2005 IBF World Championships on ESPN just now and the finals was fought between the Americans and the Indonesians. For you badminton buffs out there, you would probably be just as surpirsed as I am to hear and see an American Men's Doubles team reach the finals of a world championship series.
forgive me if i sound intruding, but hey- what's democracy and the freedom of speech?
by the time I tuned to the channel, the match was already at its climax- the final match. the game was tied at 1-1, with the Americans taking the first set 15-11 and the Indonesians 15-10. so everything boiled down to the dying moments of the 60something minute.
well then, onto the match itself. i felt it was not really to the Indonesian's advantage to start with for the simple fact that while the game was in action the crowd was cheering whenever the Americans had a chance to smash or whack the shuttlecock. I shall leave you to guess what was the dominant race of the spectators then. but won't you feel discouraged? i've never seen such a rowdy crowd like this even in the National Schools Badminton Championships back home let alone in a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. think about it- have you even heard noise during an Olympic match, not even a final. cheat would really be a very very strong word, don't you think?
secondly, i started to notice the names of the players. while the Indonesian players donned Indonesian names, the Americans didn't. some may then argue that it doens't matter what your background is, all that matters in a match is which side you're playing for and who wins, period. in response to that, i myself have seen many foreigners playing for my homeland in international competitions. and i've also seen many reports of questioning the right of my homeland to call that medal rightfully ours. so is it wrong then to have foreigners play for us? here comes the issue of nationalism.

i personally feel if i were to ever change my nationality and were to one day meet my ex-compatriots in a competition, my heart will be in a mess. an issue of country loyalty? maybe. but if you were loyal to already, why change right? hmmm. cash incentives, the prestige of being from a developed country, higher standards of living, the list of reasons would just go on and on and on and on and on *rambles on*
after all that's being said, to me in this game, the Indonesians have rightfully won.
3 days of oh happy day
3 days of Chinese New Year just ended like that lahx- like damn fast lohx. okay, fine. i shall stop being the most ultimate bimbo you can ever find and spare you from all the nonsensical nonsense. mwahaha.
aiyah. CNY this year was alright lahx. haha. i guess the only thing special and heartwarming to me was the fact that all the cousins saw one another again, like after one entire year and all. was really quite sad that we didn't meet up for a simple lunch or something throughout the whole of last year. haha. so this year, we gotta!
i mean it was great catching up with everybody cousins and relatives alike, so much has happened lohx. and it's only till today then i realised how mad my relatives can become. haha. laugh at their own jokes, do really stupid things like talk to the glass cup, refuse to admit that a green shirt is a green shirt and would rather call it a luminous yellowish green shirt - like WTH? haha. but it was great fun lahx. just being in their presence and all.
guess the next time we can go out together is during the june hols or march hols. haha. but then again, june will already be in brisbane, so haix not all of us will be there. ahha. but then again, i think all of us will be busy with our own agenda lohx: ha. why?
clara- O's
deb, aud and yours truly: A's
Greg: PSLE (HAHAHA)
Jon: HCI year one (sure got some rubbish enrichment thing wan, right?)
Gen: errr.. maybe she can meet herself only? haha.

functions and relations
functions and relations, think that's what you learn only in mathematics? guess you're wrong. when you see a many-one relation happening right before your eyes, then you'd know what i'm talking about. then again for that matter, it has caused many- one functions to break, some have just fueled talk. since we're studying the A LEVEL mathematics course, let us go deeper in the discussion shall we? what do you think will happen when the domain of the relation expands, say to infinity, to the entire relation? could it cause some numbers to be excluded from the range? or maybe it might bring more numbers to be included within the range. hmmm... *work your mathematical mind now and tell me what will happen. haven't come up with answer? let me tell you then. *screams* because of the many-one relation, competition takes place. who will win- this one i really must see. then again, it has sparked off many discussions amongst mathematicians who have expresssed their views on this phenomenon. the behaviour of several numbers seem to be independent of each other- something which have caused some mathematicians to scratch their heads even till today. it could probably be only for the LOVE of mathematics for such a phenomenon to take place. what do you think?
[sorry for the mathematical misinfomation- if there was anything in the first place. lol.]

falling sick
its ice isn't it- the air around me?
the kiss on my skin, oooh so icy!
stone cold it spreads around
till my entire body become numb
maybe its just because you ain't there
to make all my worries disappear
you're my sun, my energy
without you, there'd be no me.
-dedicated to the 2 VERY special people in my life:
miss you loads and all the times we spent.

just me and you
i guess i've never said it out loud before
neither have i told you about this
but i think its time for you to know
how much i feel and miss
its been nearly a year since that day
the time that i've taken to forget
about what we used to play
and the times we always went mad
that card seemed to be the end
the closure of something good
i guess today we're just friends
something we both understood
so i want to take this time to
thank you for those special moments
and though i still feel for you
till then, relationship's adjurned.

tea lights
no man is an island, no man stands alone
etched deep into our bonded souls
in unison we cry out!
-wherefore art thou? seniors who have flown.
leaving the place of memories together
the heavens opened her floodgates
and the clouds cried for our last farewell
-hold on. wait a moment.
change that.
you will never come back to us seniors
simply because you have never really left.
-you will be sorely missed.

the definition of a second: be blown.
The unit of time in SI, the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the cesium-133 atom.
scientists really must have nothing better to do right?
